Robotic Hysterectomy With Multiple Previous C-Sections:
Obliterated Anterior Cul-De-Sac
In this detailed video by Dr. Elizabeth Coronado, GYN Surgeon shows surgeons how to do an Anterior Cul De Sac after multiple C-Sections.
Surgery points made in this video:
- When it’s hard, start with the round ligament
- Be lateral enough to be in good tissue
- Dissect down to the cuff
- Deflect posterior, skeletonization of the uterine vessel
- Take tissue below bladder flap
- Don’t be afraid to switch out instrumentation for safety
- Trick: You can backfill the bladder
- Goal: Obliterate enough until you have good skeletonization and it looks like a normal hysterectomy surgery
