Dr. Elizabeth Coronado
Elizabeth Coronado, M.D. is a board certified gynecologist who has focused her career on empowering women through education. She received her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Medicine at Texas A&M University. While navigating the treacherous waters of raising teenagers, she is able to bring a real-life approach to patient counseling and decision-making, understanding completely that women have many competing interests in their lives. This empathy has led her to pursue continuing education and developing expertise in the most minimally invasive surgical and medical options for women with gynecologic concerns.
Due to her extensive experience with advanced robotic surgery and minimally invasive options for bleeding, pain, and fibroids, she has been fortunate to be selected to train other gynecologic surgeons in advanced techniques all over the southern region of the country. Dr. Coronado has completed over 500 robotic surgeries and innumerable other procedures for incontinence, fibroids, bleeding, and endometriosis. For patients researching robotic or minimally-invasive surgical options, she is happy to provide second opinions or share her YouTube videos linked below. Dr. Coronado also is happy to be one of only a few surgeons in the DFW area offering the Acessa minimally invasive treatment for fibroids.
Through her own experiences and health complications, Dr. Coronado has gleaned much wisdom about how our spiritual journey affects our physical and emotional healing after surgery and pregnancy. She has special interest in robotic surgery, minimally invasive options for uterine fibroids, and procedures to correct urinary incontinence. Dr. Coronado and her 3 children have enjoyed calling Dallas, TX home, which is close to her roots in Shreveport, LA.

As a side effect of the Covid-19 vaccines, I experienced uterine hemorrhaging during every menstrual cycle. Dr Where do I start? I was referred to Dr. Coronado by a friend. She told me the first time I met her she could help me with most of my symptoms and she would get me back to feeling much better, it would not happen over night but she would get me to a much better place. We decided the best option for me was a partial hysterectomy. I am 8 weeks out and its been the BEST decision I have made. From all the office visits leading up to surgery, during and after surgery have been the best service I could of asked for. She is honest, caring and takes a lot of passion in what she does. I am forever grateful I was referred to her. My surgery went so well it has surprised me so much. If you are considering Dr. Coronado for any female surgeries, do not hesitate. She will change your life. :) My only regret is not finding her earlier. Dr. Coronado has been my doctor for years. She is caring, honest, funny & takes time to listen & talk about concerns. A few time s I went from tears to laughter. Dr. Coronado and her team was excellent! I had a total robotic hyst and everything was fantastic. Dr. Coronado prepares you mentally through your preop phase. I followed preop instructions and didn’t have to take pain meds I. Recovery and was able to go home on the same day. I felt some soreness but was not ever in any pain. I would recommend her and the surgical team to anyone!!! HNds down a fabulous experience!!! Now I can get on with living my life!!!
