Catherine Nipper, WHNP-BC, is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Catherine grew up in Dallas, and graduated high school from the prestigious Ursuline Academy, a private all-girls school in Dallas. She attended the University of Arkansas for her undergraduate studies, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Catherine went on to work in Surgical/Oncology at The Medical Center of Plano before pursuing her nurse practitioner training and degree from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas. Catherine has been a practicing nurse practitioner since 2015, and her passion is educating women about all facets of women’s health. She has been recognized by patients for her comforting and upbeat bedside manner. She is experienced in providing contraceptive care, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion; management of a variety of gynecological issues, such as vaginitis; prenatal and postpartum care; and management of abnormal bleeding. Catherine will always take the time to listen and carefully consider each patient’s individual needs so as to provide the highest level of care.
Outside of medicine, Catherine enjoys travelling; spending time with family and friends; participating in active pursuits, including kayaking and sand volleyball; and caring for her pets, which so far include one German Shepherd mix and two cats.
Catherine is excited to be a part of the Women’s Specialists of Plano group, and looks forward to caring for women of all ages and backgrounds.
