A Personal Note from
Dr. Jules Monier
I am a board certified OBGYN with 30 years of private practice experience in Plano, Texas. I have spent my professional career listening carefully to my patients, performing surgeries, delivering babies, and keeping abreast of the latest research, surgical techniques and discoveries in my field. I am a skilled surgeon and physician, logging 120 Continuing Medical Education hours per year. I will never advocate a procedure you do not absolutely need. You can trust me to take a common sense approach to your care and to judiciously present you with all of your options.
My state-of-the-art office is equipped for in-house digital mammograms, 3-D ultrasounds (sonograms), bone-density testing and much more. My friendly office staff will assure your comfort in that each visit will be timely, organized and warm. My nurse is available to you by telephone during business hours. I perform all the latest minimally-invasive surgeries and procedures, including but not limited to:
- robotic hysterectomy
- robotic myomectomy
- female urinary incontinence
- pelvic organ prolapse surgeries
- endometrial ablation (in office or in hospital)
In addition to my extensive surgical expertise, I offer my patients obstetrics services as well. I have delivered 3000 babies and as those patients come of age they often select me to be their OBGYN. Many of my patients find me through the recommendation of their friends.
My wife, Amy, and I have been happily married for 35 years and we have three grown children off pursuing their own lives. One is the other Dr. Monier (orthopedic surgery resident), one completed Law school and has joined a Dallas Law firm, and our youngest completed a Masters in special education and works in San Francisco. Amy and I enjoy spending our time actively and now that we can no longer beat the kids in mountain biking, tennis or weightlifting we’ve had to adopt a new sport: rowing. I spend many happy hours out on the lake with The Dallas Rowing Club; my wife is in training to become my rowing partner.
The way I see it, life is complicated enough. The doctor-patient relationship should be simple. I offer you my wisdom and expertise in a rapidly changing field. I will advise you ethically and put your interests at the forefront of all I do.

Jules Monier, MD Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Monier for about 13 years. I have delivered both my kids under his care. When I found a lump last year, I was able to see him very quickly and took my concerns seriously even tho I had no history and would be considered low/standard risk. Without creating extra worry he referred me right away for ultrasound and aspiration/biopsy. When it came back cancer, he personally called me to offer comfort and to make sure I was ok and to offer his personal recommendation on providers. He’s never rushed me out of a visit and has always addressed any concern I’ve had. I am so glad I took the recommendation to see him all those years ago!!! Dr. Monier has delivered both of my children and he is hands down one of the best physicians I have met. He is very kind, warm and really puts the patient first. I always feel at ease with him and he always takes his time during appointments to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend him! I was beyond impressed with my experience with Doctor Monier. All my appointments ran on time. Dr Monier was really knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout m visits.. I would highly recommend this Doctor. I’ve consulted many MDs in my life, and it’s rare I’ve found one as knowledgeable, accommodating, and concerned as Dr. Monier. I have had nothing but positive experience. Dr. Monier has my total loyalty as a patient and will continue to do so. I had been a patient of Dr. Monier since 1987 until I retired in 2018 and moved to Florida. He is the utmost professional in his field and I will never find another physician that will compare to him!!! No one "likes" going to the gynecologist, but he always made me feel at ease and always provided the best medical care. Being able to get mammograms in office was a plus. I have been seing Dr. Jules Monier for the past 2 years for my Re-Occurring Barthlin Cyst. He is the only doctor that I have ever had experience with who knew how to treat this horrible issue with delicacy. I recommend him to anyone as a primary OBG as well as specialized treatment of women aliments. “After years of suffering through uterine fibroids and PMS, I finally made the decision to have the DaVinci Robotic Hysterectomy. It was the best thing I could have done for my health and wellbeing. I feel better, sleep better and have so much more energy. I highly recommend Dr. Monier to everyone needing a hysterectomy. He’s very caring and supportive and will listen to your concerns.”
Thank you Dr. Monier!
I cannot forget to Shelly, who was beyond exceptional in making sure everything was scheduled accordingly.
