Christen Reamy
Christen Reamy, MPAS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant that is joining the Women’s Specialists of Plano’s practice. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Austin College in Sherman, TX and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Oklahoma City University. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. She has a passion for women’s health and believes in empowering women through education about their bodies. As a provider of comprehensive healthcare for women, Christen considers it a joy and a privilege to advocate for patients’ needs, health, and overall well-being at all stages of life. Her warm personality and gentle manner will set patients at ease and provide a level of comfort in this patient-provider relationship that is so unique.
Outside of practicing medicine Christen enjoys traveling, reading, playing with her aggressively friendly dogs, and spending time with friends and family.
What is a Physician Assistant?
Physician Assistants (or PAs) are medical professionals who are trained to diagnose illness, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and often serve as a patient’s principal healthcare provider. They undergo thousands of hours of training in many different aspects and specialties of medicine. Christen feels very fortunate to have such a close working relationship with the physicians at Women’s Specialist of Plano who are readily available to her at all times when she needs their valuable expertise.

I've seen Christen twice now and she was fantastic both times! She really took her time with me and thoroughly answered all my questions. She was incredibly empathetic and kind. If you're unsure about seeing her versus the doctor, don't worry -- she's super qualified and has a better bedside manner than some. ;) Christen Reamy makes me more comfortable than any other DR/PA I’ve ever been to. It’s like seeing an old friend every time I see her. She is an amazing listener and an always addresses your concerns. 10/10 would recommend her. I highly recommend seeing Christen for your women’s health needs. She is kind, caring and patient. She was very thorough and extremely helpful. She is an awesome provider! I typically see Dr. Coronado for my Annual exam. In 2019 and 2020, due to scheduling conflicts, I had the privilege of meeting with Christen instead. I was impressed with how well she listened to my questions/concerns and addressed each issue. As with many of my friends, the annual appointment can feel "invasive". Christen followed the respectful protocols I have always experienced with Women's Specialists, since my first visit with Dr. Fox (now retired), my two pregnancies- where I met with each of the physicians on staff at the time, as well as Dr. Coronado herself. ...very empathetic for sure! i have seen Christen twice and on both occasions she was very friendly but professional. i felt very comfortable to discuss reasons for the visit, she took the time to listen and addressed most of my concerns. she is very caring too Christen is amazing! I cannot say enough about her. She was patient with my questions and always has the knowledge for a solution.Thank you Christen!!!! Christen was amazing. She took time to explain everything and ensure all my questions were answered. She made sure to ensure I was comfortable with all my treatment options and together we came up with the best treatment plan for myself. I could not say better things about how wonderful and caring she is. By far, one of the best experiences I've had with a medical professional. I saw Christen for my first women's wellness exam/pap and she could not have been more delightful. She was sensitive to it being my first time and quick, but still thorough. Loved her!!
